SAR Reports

πŸ•΅οΈβ€β™‚οΈ What Is a SAR?

A Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) is a formal report raised internally (and sometimes to regulators) whenever a remitter’s activities trigger compliance red flags.

Common reasons for triggering a SAR include:

  • Suspicious transaction patterns
  • High-risk corridor usage
  • Fraud alerts or sanctions hits
  • Abnormal remittance behavior
  • Document or identity irregularities

SARs are critical for compliance transparency, fraud prevention, and regulatory adherence within the HelloMe Money ecosystem.
